OSSA Regional Orientation Edmonton

Planning on working in Northern Alberta or the Oil sands? OSSA Orientation is your first step. This OSSA-approved general safety awareness Orientation provides the knowledge needed to enter and work at projects on OSSA member worksites. At a minimum workers are required to obtain an OSSA Regional Orientation certificate before they are granted entry.

Note: This is not a classroom course with scheduled sessions—just call us for an appointment and we will arrange a time to provide the instruction you need.

Course content
•Brief background of OSSA sites and the active projects there
•Safety policies and emergency response systems for the sites
•Standard working procedures at these sites
•The variety of hazards at oil sands projects
